Alice in Winterland at The Gladstone

Alice in Winterland

The creators of Freezing and The Blizzard of Oz are back with their fourth annual holiday panto! Alice in Winterland is coming to The Gladstone Theatre December 28th to January 7th. It’s the classic Alice we all know and love, with a wintry twist. Your and your family can join her down the rabbit hole and witness the Gladstone transform into a winter wonderland.
If it sounds like seasonal magic, that’s because it is. “Our productions have quickly become a holiday tradition for many Ottawa families and we would love to get the word out to more,” says Sarah Cassidy, who c0-produces the show with her husband Matt. As the notes, “Having spent over 17 years as professional performers in Toronto, they made the decision to move their young family to Ottawa to produce an annual family musical in the form of a panto.”

Sarah grew up in Ottawa and made her stage debut (as a cob of corn, in a ballet) at age 4. Now she and Matt are behind the scenes, creating live magic for local families. This production of Alice in Winterland  is written and directed by Ken MacDougall, with
musical direction by Wendy Berkelaar and choreography by Jessica Vandenberg
