Voilà. You’ve got the makings for one of the city’s most delectable parties, Bon Appetit Ottawa. Driven by the local hospitality sector, this gourmet charitable event is dedicated to combatting hunger and poverty in the region. Proceeds support a variety of charities, with a focus on hunger relief and help for children and the elderly.
Slated for Tuesday, May 5, at the Aberdeen Pavilion, Lansdowne Park, Bon Appetit makes for a great evening out or date night, sans kids. It runs from 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. and restaurants, caterers, breweries, wineries and other food and drink artisans will provide samples. Tickets are $85 (including a $50 tax receipt) and cover all food and beverage tastings. There are no extra costs once you arrive.
