Fall Fashion Show Celebrates the Beauty of Cancer Survival

It’s the kind of fashion show you don’t want to miss. Uplifting and inspiring, this fall fashion event at The Wholesale Outlet, 1877 Innes Road, is a celebration of style and life and cancer survival.

The show is slated for 10 a.m. Saturday, September 14, and owner Sherry Woodburn is thrilled these particular models will be wearing her store’s latest looks for all to see. They’re all different shapes, ages and sizes and they’re not professionals, she explains. Instead, the models are customers who are also cancer survivors.  They’re wonderfully, beautifully, gloriously alive and this fashion show is Sherry’s way of doing her part to help make the disease history.

It’s free to attend and 25 percent of all sales go to Ottawa Hospital cancer research. “These gals have been on quite a journey,” Sherry points out, adding, “I do this to support them and to support the hospital.”

It’s quite a special celebration. In fact, since seats usually get filled, it’s best to arrive by 9:30 a.m. For more information, call 613-748-6605.
