Lemonade Standemonium this Saturday!

Lemonade Standemonium

Ottawa’s Biggest Lemonade Stand Fundraiser!

Get thirsty, my friends. And round up your kids and peeps to take part in Lemonade Standemonium June 4. It’s a fun-filled day when kids host lemonade stands in their neighborhoods, all while raising funds and awareness for cancer care in our community.

In three years, the Lemonade Standemonium has raised more than $190,000 for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation in support of local cancer research and patient care.

How the campaign works:

Step 1: Children and/or their parents register at www.ottawacancer.ca/lemonade and can start fundraising online and hosting mini-events in their area of the community.

Step 2: Kids host their lemonade stand on event day, Saturday, June 4, at their location of choice. Prizes are awarded for various participation levels.

Step 3: On Sunday, June 5,, participants can drop off the funds they’ve raised at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, 1500 Alta Vista Drive, and celebrate their achievements as part of National Cancer Survivors Day.

So go ahead; join the lemonade brigade and help paint the town yellow. You can invite your friends to join the event on Facebook.  Questions? See www.ottawacancer.ca/lemonade and email lemonade@ottawacancer.ca.
