Registration Time

Want to sign the kids up for skating or swimming or cartooning?

There are loads of fun  choices for all ages and stages, but the time to register for Ottawa’s fall and winter programs is now.

As summer winds down, we’re all gearing up for the fun to be had in September and beyond. Tryouts are underway for many sports, and registration has just begun for the City of Ottawa’s fall and winter 2012-13 programs.

Swimming and Aquafitness registration started Monday, August 13, and sign-up starts today for a whole slew of other programs.
What a bonanza! There are classes for preschoolers, children and youth, as well as programs for families and opportunities for residents with special needs.  Skating classes, learn-to-swim classes and classes for adults are also on offer.

Right across the city, there are recreation and leisure opportunities for all ages, stages and interests. You can pick your favourites from art sessions, play groups, sports, workshops, drop-ins, after-school programs, general interest and wellness classes.

There’s a great selection of activities for families and youngsters from babies to teens can try new things, make new friends and learn new skills.

To register for programs, you need your family Personal Identification Number (PIN) and client barcode ready. Can’t find them? No problem. A PIN and barcode lookup tool will help you retrieve the information. If you don’t have a family PIN and client barcode, visit your local recreation or culture facilityClient Service Centre, or create an account online.
