Stressed Spelled Backwards is Desserts: A Healthy Coping Strategies Night for Youth
On October 15th from 4-8pm, head down to Dominion Chalmers United Church (355 Cooper Street) for a free event (with free desserts and snacks too)!
Stressed Spelled Backwards is Desserts: A Healthy Coping Strategies Night for Youth, put on by the Youth Advisory Committee at Youth Net/ Réseau Ado.
This fun event features a welcoming drop in setting for all youth in the Ottawa area aged (12-24) to help develop healthy coping strategies. The dessert themed event will include various stations that youth can participate in (such as yoga, jewelry making, health and fitness, art and poetry), which will help young people learn about coping strategies for stress.
Let’s get Ottawa youth talking about stress, but also learning how to cope with it!
