There’s a riveting live show in town tonight, presented by the Ottawa StoryTellers.

Sansei: The Storyteller, written and performed by Mark Ikeda, is onstage at 8 p.m. tonight, September 9, at Arts Court Theatre. This show was winner of the 2014 Calgary Fringe Festival “Best in Fest” honours.
Using dance, theatre, and humour, Calgary-based Ikeda tells the story of the Japanese Internment–one of Canada’s darkest historical episodes. The story’s personal and it grew from this statement: “If the Japanese Internment didn’t happen, I wouldn’t be alive today.”
Find out how and why.

Arts Court is located at 2 Daly Avenue, at the intersection of Daly Avenue and Nicholas Street, steps from the Rideau Centre downtown.
Tickets for Sansei are $12 at the door.
