Visit the Pink Tour bus

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation is on its way to Ottawa as part of the Pink Tour.  Again this summer, the foundation is making stops in over 90 Ontario communities with its big pink bus. It’s quite the sight! And it’s definitely an attention-grabber. After all, the aim of the Pink Tour is to empower women to make informed choices about screening and to take steps to reduce the risk of developing breast cancer. The Pink Tour bus is an engaging, interactive learning experience about breast health. Visitors can take fun quizzes, use interactive videos, record personal video pledges to live well or sign up for a mammogram with the Ontario Breast Screening Program.

You’ll find the bus at the Canada Day Festivities on July 1.

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. it’ll be on Sparks Street.

It will also be in Ottawa for the following days:

  • Sunday, June 30 Shoppers Drug Mart at 1200 St. Laurent Boulevard from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Thursday, July 4 CIBC at 4756 Bank St. from 10 a.m. to noon, then South Nepean CHC at 4100 Strandherd Drive, Suite 201, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and Ottawa ByWard Market at 55 Byward Market Square from 4:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Friday, July 5 Shoppers Drug Mart at 5709 Hazeldean Road, Kanata, from 9 to 11 a.m.
