Clifford Bowey Public School needs your help. When you vote once a day for the next three days, you can help give Clifford Bowey the chance to build a new accessible playground. Located in the Bank Street/Walkley Road area of the city, this school serves 104 students, aged 4 to 21, who have developmental disabilities. And a new playground will not only benefit these young students, it will also benefit the entire Ottawa community since everyone will be able to use the playground outside of school hours.
“Voting takes less than one minute to do,” school principal Laurie Kavanagh points out. “Every vote counts and will make a real difference to our students. Every vote brings us closer to building the new accessible playground! With just a few clicks, you can help improve the lives of some very deserving students.”
You can vote once a day, every day, until Wednesday at 4 p.m. The school is presently in 13th place across the country and needs the whole community’s vote to make it to the finals.
