Zombie Takeover? You Bet!
Autism Ontario – Ottawa Chapter is raising the dead and raising funds at the Saunders Farm Zombie Adventure Challenge August 26
Bring on the zombies! Join the living dead – and the action – Sunday, August 26 at the Saunders Farm Zombie Adventure Challenge. Talk about putting the fun in fundraiser! This gripping entertaining, family-oriented event benefits the Autism Ontario – Ottawa Chapter. Kids of all ages are going to get a real kick out of it.
Here’s how it works:
Teams of four complete nine challenges while trying to keep their ‘life’ flags and to escape the Zombies shambling after them. The three-kilometre course across the farm has been created by the fitness experts of Sculpt Conditioning Gym and it’s guaranteed to keep things ..er, “lively.” If you’d rather dress up as a Zombie and chase down the human snacks flags, that’s an option too.
Participants who raise $50 per person or $200 for a team of four receive free admission to Saunders Farm to stay and play for the event day. You can register online too.
Better yet, if you register by August 17 (by noon), you’ll be entered into draws for the following prizes:
- A family season’s pass (family of four) for the remainder of the season at Saunders Farm;
- A dinner-and-movie gift-certificate package, including a $50 gift certificate to The Works and a $50 Cineplex movie gift certificate.
On-site registration for the Zombie Adventure Challenge starts at 8 a.m. and the event starts at 9 a.m. Refreshments and prizes will be part of the fun. It promises to be a great day for a great cause. For details or to make a donation, click here.
