Ice Cream Fundraiser for Pyjama Patrol

Have you been to Sundae School yet? Before the real one starts — the one with books and homework — you might want to pay a visit to the delectable spot at 222 Beechwood Avenue for a cool, creamy treat.

And for the next two weeks, from today, August 14 through August 27,  when you purchase a Class Clown Sundae, all proceeds will go to Pyjama Patrol, a grassroots, Kanata-based community organization that provides new pyjamas and other comforting essentials to infants, children and teens in need.

A Class Clown? According to the Sundae School website, that’s Nerds ice cream, candy, and a cone “hat.” Other items on the menu include Chalk-olate Board, Snow Day, Class Pet and Pop Quiz, which is a combo of vanilla ice cream, salted caramel, popcorn, Skor. Now that’s a pop quiz to love!

The new Ottawa shop features artisan ice cream, yummy toppings and a variety of drinks. It’s open daily from 1 to 10 p.m.
