The National Arts Centre Orchestra and Shenkman Arts Centre are presenting a chamber music concert for children aged 3 to 8 on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 4 p.m. at the Shenkman Arts Centre.
Created for the youngest fans, this concert requires no dress code, and welcomes families to move and stretch their legs at the show. Gasps and laughter are encouraged! Glittering musical numbers and imaginative plots make Kinderconcerts an excellent experience for audiences big and small.
Drums, cymbals, timpani, marimbas, xylophones, and an inexhaustible supply of “toys” – these are all part of the percussion section of the orchestra. From Bach to Rock, let Bangers & Smash show you all the sounds and colours percussion instruments can produce!
