Head to Stittsville Village Square this Evening for a Free Concert in the Park
Looking for something to do tonight? If you live in Ottawa’s west end, grab your lawn chairs or a picnic blanket and head to Stittsville for an evening of fun and music. The annual Concerts in the Park series kicks off with Catalyst, an Ottawa Valley band. Catalyst plays classic rock, retro and country hits.
Stittsville’s Thursday night concerts are free, but donations to CHEO are welcome. The music starts at 7 p.m. Come early, though, and don’t worry about making supper, because you can get a bite to eat right on-site.
Folks from Stittsville’s youth connexion program are hosting a cash barbecue, starting at 6 p.m. Proceeds will support local youth initiatives.
Next Thursday, August 9, Eddy and the Stingrays are onstage and Thursday, August 16, Captain Fantastic is performing. For details, call 613 580-2424 ext. 33271.
